Choosing the right
business for you
In the relevant section of the directory listings
see who offers most closely what you need and, if necessary, call /
email them with any questions (or visit their website if they have one.)
They will be happy to arrange a no obligation visit to your home, school
or office and provide an estimate for the work that you want done. They
may be able to provide references and show examples of their work (designers
and landscapers).
For larger jobs (e.g. anything likely to
cost you several hundred pounds) you'll probably want at least two estimates.
If you think there's any risk element (eg felling, construction around
services..) then you may want to consider only those with public liability
insurance.
