MEMBERSHIP

We want you to join BGG if

· you are a professional in the gardening, landscaping, arboricultural or related fields and you work in and around Bristol... and you run your business with environmental considerations foremost.
· you are keen to promote ways to reduce our environmental footprint and to enhance biodiversity, beauty, interest and quality structures and spaces in gardens.

What does membership of Bristol Green Gardeners bring?

As a member you will have your business profiled in the online directory, including a link to your own website if you have one.
BGG will be widely and continuously advertised through the local print media, Yellow Pages and Yell.com, on business cards and postcards, car stickers and van livery, on stalls and through displays and presentaions. We also plan to be accessible through other organisation's online directories, such as the Henry Doubleday Research Association (Garden Organic), the Avon Organic Group and regional garden services directories.
By displaying the BGG logo and web address on your own advertising materials you will be helping to spread awareness of BGG. We'll send you BGG car stickers and the BGG logo to download and use.

As a BGG member you can also enjoy group membership of the HDRA* (Henry Doubleday Research Association) giving you preferred access to the UK's leading organic gardening and farming research and information service and a host of member benefits. [*Individual membership would otherwise cost you £26]
You'll also have opportunities to meet other BGG members and take part in garden visits, training and information workshops, talks and demonstrations. And members are bound to want to exchange books and ideas, and even work together on projects.

What we will need from you:

·2 or more recent references from satisfied customers/ other BGG members
· a business flyer/card
· A completed listing form which you can download here and then mail or email to info@bristolgreengardeners.com
· An annual subscription of £60. (Please make cheques payable to Bristol Green Gardeners and post to Chris Swinburn, 28 Withleigh Road, Knowls BS42LQ. And if you prefer to pay this in installments then please ask.) Don't forget that you can claim against this business advertising expense on your tax return.

We hope you can see the great potential in BGG from both the business and the environmental points of view. Its success is dependent on all of us promoting it, sharing ideas on every aspect of the network and building and maintaining BGG's integrity. So please, send me suggestions, questions, details of potential members, links, book titles....
Cheers!

Fancy your own website to showcase your business?

BGG can offer you your own webpages and at a far lower cost than you could expect to pay for your own domain, search codes and design. Display photos of your work, designs, plaudits, cv, training you offer etc etc.
Your own site will be hosted by BGG with a direct link to it attached to your directory profile thus:
www.bristolgreengardeners.com/mybusinessname
